Boston College High School is a Catholic, Jesuit, independent school serving young men across grades 7-12 from various communities across Massachusetts. Founded in 1863, Boston College High School continues its commitment to an authentic formation of the head, heart, and hands within the parameters of the Characteristics of Jesuit Education, the Ignatian Pedagogical Paradigm, the BC High Mission Statement, and the strategic plan.
ROLE PURPOSE
Boston College High School seeks a full-time Mathematics teacher for the 2026-2027 year.
SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITES
  • Full-time teaching position. Faculty will teach four or five mathematics courses.
  • Commitment to collaborating with colleagues in curriculum design and teaching practices.
  • Weekly student mentoring in our house program.

Requirements
SELECTION CRITERIA
  • A degree in Mathematics and/or Teaching.
  • Experience teaching high school students.
  • Strong and sincere engagement in professional development in both pedagogy and content area.
  • High standards and expectations for students.
  • Proficiency with educational technology and learning management systems.
  • Knowledge and commitment around diversity, equity, and inclusion practices.
  • Experience teaching higher level math courses preferred, but not required
