What You'll Do
  • Venipuncture, IV catheter placement
  • Obtaining and interpreting patient vital signs
  • Perform laboratory tests (CBC, chemistry, urinalysis, fecal flotation, ear cytology etc.)
  • Induce and monitor anesthesia
  • Surgical assisting & monitoring
  • Perform dental prophylaxis, charting
  • Care for hospitalized patients
  • Administer medications (oral, injectable, transdermal...)
  • Obtaining radiographs
