• Assist licensed physical therapists in implementing individualized patient care plans, ensuring high standards of treatment.
• Perform therapeutic exercises and functional training designed to improve mobility and strength, closely monitoring patients' progress.
• Educate patients on exercise techniques and proper body mechanics to optimize treatment outcomes and prevent re-injuries.
• Assess patients' needs, demonstrating compassion and empathy, while also recommending modifications to treatment plans as required.
• Conduct evaluations and document patients' progress, ensuring adherence to organizational protocols and legal standards.
• Engage in continuing education to stay current with the latest rehabilitation practices and research.
• Contribute to team discussions on patient status, providing insights that guide treatment adjustments and improvements.

• A Bachelor’s degree in Physical Therapy, Physical Therapist Assistant program, or a related field is required.
• Current and valid license or certification to practice as a Physical Therapist Assistant in Illinois.
• Understanding of anatomy, physiology, and effective rehabilitation practices.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to convey instructions and nurture patient relationships.

• Prior experience as a Physical Therapist Assistant in a clinical or hospital setting is highly valued.
• Demonstrated hands-on expertise with therapeutic modalities and functional training techniques.
• Familiarity with electronic medical record (EMR) systems for documentation and patient tracking.
