Job description

The Wood Center Graphic Design Student should have a strong creative design process. Experience working with various graphic design programs, such as Adobe Photoshop, InDesign, and Illustrator, is required. The applicant must also be comfortable using Mac computers.
To thrive in this role student should have the ability to be creative but must have an understanding of the principles of color and design. Applicant must be willing to work as team with other student graphic artists, being able to provide and receive feedback on work. Must providing excellent customer service to clients, and prioritize time management and organizational skills. Must be able to pay close attention to detail and have high quality editing skills. Student will need to be familiar with UAF's Marketing guidelines.
Minimum Qualifications:
Student should have prior experience with graphic design programs, as well as experience with commercial and large format printing. Must be an enrolled UA student in at least 6 credit hours and have a GPA of 2.0 or greater to be eligible for student employment.
Position Details:
This position is located on the University of Alaska campus in Fairbanks. This is a Student Assistant 2 position, minimum starting pay is $14.96 per hour. This is a pooled position, which means that the position remains open over the entire academic year.
