Job description

Associate Periodontist

Lubbock Implants & Periodontics | Lubbock, Texas

Lubbock Implants & Periodontics is seeking a full-time Associate Periodontist to join our established, growing specialty practice in West Texas. This is an excellent opportunity to step into a busy referral-based practice with a strong reputation, modern technology, an experienced clinical team, and significant opportunity for growth.

Our practice was established more than 35 years ago. We continue to provide comprehensive periodontal and implant care while expanding services to meet the needs of our growing referral network.

Why Join Our Practice?
  • Established specialty practice with an excellent reputation (4.9 stars on Google)
  • Strong referral relationships with general dentists throughout the region
  • Schedule consistently booked 2–4 weeks in advance
  • Four-day work week (Monday–Thursday)
  • Modern technology, including CBCT imaging
  • Collaborative, patient-focused culture
  • Opportunity to introduce and grow IV sedation services
  • Clinical autonomy with strong administrative and team support
A Unique Growth Opportunity

This practice is well-positioned for its next phase of growth. The current periodontist is producing approximately $4,000 per day while practicing a more traditional scope of periodontics. For a provider who enjoys comprehensive implant therapy, advanced regenerative procedures, and modern surgical techniques, there is significant opportunity to expand both the scope of services and overall production.

As the only provider in the practice, you'll have the ability to build upon an established patient base while helping shape the future direction of the practice. Candidates with IV sedation experience—or an interest in adding IV sedation—will find an underserved market with tremendous potential.

What You'll Treat

Our practice provides comprehensive periodontal and implant therapy, including:

  • Dental implant placement (Nobel Biocare and Straumann systems)
  • Bone grafting and ridge augmentation
  • Soft tissue grafting
  • Periodontal surgery
  • Crown lengthening
  • Regenerative procedures
  • Management of periodontal disease
  • Oral and nitrous sedation, with the opportunity to expand IV sedation services
Compensation & Benefits
  • 40% of adjusted production
  • $1,500 daily guarantee for the first six months
  • Expected Annual Income: $320,000+
  • Comprehensive Benefits Package
  • Full-time schedule (Monday–Thursday)
  • Immediate patient flow with an established referral base
  • Significant earning potential as the practice continues to grow
Who We're Looking For

We are seeking a periodontist who is:

  • Passionate about delivering exceptional patient care
  • Comfortable performing the full scope of periodontal and implant procedures
  • Interested in growing an already successful specialty practice
  • Committed to building long-term relationships with referring dentists
  • Collaborative, professional, and patient-centered
  • Interested in expanding implant therapy and surgical services
  • IV sedation certified or interested in obtaining IV sedation privileges (preferred but not required)
About Lubbock

Lubbock offers an outstanding quality of life with an affordable cost of living, a thriving medical and dental community, excellent schools, and a welcoming atmosphere. Home to Texas Tech University, the city combines the amenities of a larger metropolitan area with the convenience and friendliness of West Texas living.

If you're looking for an opportunity to join a respected specialty practice where you can make an immediate impact, expand clinical services, and build a thriving periodontal practice, we'd love to hear from you.
