Mechanical Engineer – Entry Level Welcome!
Location: South Canaan, PA

Pay: $30-$35/hr
Type: Contract Assignment

Whether you're a recent Mechanical Engineering graduate or have a few years of experience, you'll work alongside experienced engineers on real-world product development projects—from concept and design through prototype testing and product launch.

This assignment is supporting a growing engineering team during an exciting transition period as the company prepares for future expansion and relocation of operations to Illinois. You'll gain valuable experience working on complex automation equipment while building skills that can accelerate your engineering career.

What You'll Be Doing
  • Design and develop automation equipment used in packaging, material handling, and warehouse operations
  • Create 3D models, assemblies, and detailed drawings using SolidWorks
  • Participate in prototype builds, testing, troubleshooting, and product validation
  • Apply mechanical engineering principles including structural, thermal, and dynamic analysis
  • Select mechanical, pneumatic, and electro-mechanical components
  • Support engineering change orders and technical documentation
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to bring new products from concept to market
What We're Looking For
  • Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field
  • Recent graduates are encouraged to apply
  • Associate Degree in Automation Technology with relevant experience will also be considered
  • Experience with SolidWorks or similar 3D CAD software
  • Strong problem-solving skills and a hands-on mindset
  • Ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment
  • Interest in automation, machinery, product development, and manufacturing technologies
