As a Security Officer Full Time Armed Clinical Patrol in Fort Lauderdale, FL, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. As an Armed Patrol Officer at a government location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, respond to security-related concerns, and deliver professional customer service. You will communicate clearly with visitors, staff, and local contacts while supporting a welcoming environment. What You'll Do:

  • Provide customer service to patients, visitors, staff, and contractors by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, policies, and emergency response activities.
  • Respond to incidents, disturbances, medical emergencies, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, notifying appropriate personnel and/or public service agencies as needed.
  • Conduct regular and random armed patrols of assigned buildings, parking areas, entrances, and perimeter areas to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
  • Monitor access points and verify credentials for employees, visitors, contractors, and vendors in accordance with site-specific procedures.
  • Prepare accurate reports and maintain required documentation for incidents, observations, patrols, and other security-related activities.

Minimum Requirements:

  • At least five years of security-related experience.
  • Customer service experience is preferred.
  • An armed guard card or license is required.
  • Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
