Summary

We’re seeking a motivated and high-energy Financial Analyst for our direct client in the manufacturing industry. This is an excellent opportunity for someone early in their career who thrives in a fast-paced environment and wants to grow within a global manufacturing organization. You’ll work closely with the Plant Controller and finance leadership, supporting core financial operations, cost accounting, and month-end processes. The ideal candidate brings a strong understanding of GAAP principles, solid analytical skills, and a proactive mindset. You’ll gain hands-on exposure to cost and manufacturing accounting, with a clear career path for advancement within finance or plant operations.


Responsibilities

  • Support month-end close activities including journal entries, reconciliations, and reporting.
  • Analyze financial and operational results within project and manufacturing accounting systems.
  • Partner with Shared Services to review and analyze balance sheet accounts.
  • Assist with invoicing, scrap tracking, and re-aging of accounts receivable under Controller guidance.
  • Maintain compliance with U.S. SOX 404 internal control requirements.
  • Extract, analyze, and develop reports to support decision-making.
  • Participate in capital appropriation and fixed asset support activities.
  • Assist with cost accounting and standard cost updates.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally to improve financial processes and identify efficiency opportunities.


Qualifications

Required:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration.
  • 2–4 years of related experience in manufacturing finance or cost accounting.
  • Working knowledge of U.S. GAAP and general accounting principles.
  • Proficiency in Excel and strong analytical abilities.
  • Strong attention to detail, initiative, and team orientation.

Preferred:

  • Experience with standard cost systems and ERP tools such as Oracle, Hyperion, QAD, or Visual Software.
  • Prior exposure to aerospace or industrial manufacturing environments.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to partner cross-functionally.
  • Self-motivated with a “ownership mindset” and eagerness to learn and grow.
