Job description

AWS is seeking a strategic program manager to design and deliver global partner event experiences through innovative in-person programming as part of 1P Flagship events. As organizations navigate an AI-driven world, this role will shape how AWS connects with, enables, and inspires our global partners through meaningful event experiences that drive engagement and business impact.
You'll lead the development and delivery of AWS Partner Programs globally, establishing frameworks, standards, and measurement protocols that ensure consistent, high-quality partner experiences across all regions. This includes supporting our global partner summits series, Global Partner Summit, and shaping the partner experience at re:Invent

By leveraging data-driven insights and emerging technologies, you'll create immersive in-person experiences that deliver measurable business outcomes.
This role requires proven experience leading global programs with cross-regional coordination, strong strategic thinking to translate business objectives into actionable frameworks, and excellent stakeholder management across multiple organizational levels. You must demonstrate a data-driven approach to program measurement and optimization, experience with partner program management and engagement strategies, and strong project management capabilities to manage multiple concurrent initiatives. Exceptional communication and collaboration skills across diverse, global teams are essential for ensuring consistent execution while allowing appropriate regional customization.
Key job responsibilities
Define and establish the Global Partner Program framework that sets strategic direction, standards, and guidelines ensuring consistency, quality, and alignment with AWS brand values across all regional implementations
Collaborate with regional stakeholders to gather market intelligence and feedback that informs and evolves the global strategy, ensuring the framework remains relevant and responsive to diverse market needs
Establish global standards and comprehensive guidelines for Partner Programs that regional leads can adapt while maintaining the integrity of the global partner experience
Partner with cross-functional teams to ensure the framework addresses organizational requirements and leverages resources effectively
Oversee end-to-end program delivery including planning, coordination, and execution of partner programs globally
Maintain program governance by establishing clear processes for updates, approvals, and change management while ensuring compliance with legal, security, and AppSec requirements
Define global KPIs and measurement frameworks that enable consistent evaluation across all partner initiatives, establishing metrics for partner engagement, business outcomes, operational efficiency, and program ROI
Report on global program performance to executive stakeholders, providing analysis of partner program effectiveness, business impact, and recommendations for program expansion and optimization
