Gate Operator Installer – Lead Automated System Installations for Fencing Solutions & Construction, LLC.


Job Overview

  • Company: Fencing Solutions & Construction, LLC.
  • Salary/Pay Rate: $27 to $32 per hour (Based on experience) plus Performance Based Bonus.
  • Location: Byhalia, MS.
  • Job/Employment Type: Full Time.
  • Project Scope: Residential, Commercial, Industrial, Government, and Federal.
  • Mandatory Licenses & Certifications: None Required.


The Opportunity

You will serve as a critical technical leader, driving the precise installation and programming of automated gate systems. This role allows you to take full ownership of complex projects while mentoring junior crew members as our automation division grows. You will work within a high-performing culture that refuses to cut corners and actively rewards elite craftsmanship.


How You Will Make an Impact

  • Execute the complete installation, programming, and commissioning of complex automated gate operator systems.
  • Troubleshoot and program swing, slide, and vertical lift systems to ensure flawless operation.
  • Inspect all completed installations against strict company standards to ensure perfect functionality.
  • Coordinate seamlessly with field fence crews and project managers to integrate automated systems.
  • Enforce absolute compliance with safety devices, entrapment protection, and local code requirements.
  • Train and mentor junior team members to expand the company's internal automation capabilities.
  • Maintain clear communication with clients and general contractors regarding system safety and operation.


Required Qualifications & Experience

  • Minimum of 4 to 5 years of hands-on experience installing and troubleshooting gate operators.
  • Proven expertise working across diverse swing, slide, and vertical lift automated systems.
  • Demonstrated ability to run automation jobs from start to finish with minimal oversight.
  • Strong capability to integrate safety devices and maintain strict code compliance independently.
  • Excellent technical communication skills for explaining automated system programming to clients.


Preferred Qualifications & Experience

  • High School Diploma or GED.
  • AFA Certified Gate Automation Technician or Gate Automation Designer credential.
  • Demonstrated experience mentoring or training junior team members in a field environment.
