Job description

POSITION SUMMARY

Responsible for the overall cleanliness of the kitchen based on the duties listed below

Hiring for Full Time shift 10:00 pm - 6:00 am. Shifts will include weekends and holidays.

Shift differentials of $1.00/hour extra for 4:00 p.m.- midnight and $2.00/hour extra for midnight - 8:00 a.m. We also offer a generous benefit package with Health, Dental, Vision, Life insurance, Employee Discounts, Paid Time Off, Vacation, and 401k - with a company match.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

  • Gather trash and recycling and place in gasoline alley before the cleaning starts; empty trash and recycling after cleaning is over.
  • Remove carts from south end of kitchen as well as plate racks to carpeted area for floor cleaning.
  • Mix chemicals for scrubber in appropriate containers to prepare cleaning solution, according to specifications.
  • Remove mats, garbage cans, dish racks, grease pails, sweep and spray the kitchen and dish room floors down.
  • Retrieve scrubber from custodial room and scrub both the kitchen floor and dish room floor.
  • After using scrubber on floors, mop kitchen and dish room floor with just water.
  • All cleaning areas will be designated by the cleaning log.
  • The cleaning log comprises all chores of the steward crew members.
  • Change the foil on all grills.
  • Clean all grills as needed.
  • Sweep and mop storage rooms.
  • Clean grease traps.
  • Clean vents in kitchen as needed.
  • Clean under fryers.
  • Take grease out and dispose of it in the appropriate receptacle.
  • Wipe equipment down.
  • Remove mats, garbage cans, dish racks, grease pails, sweep and spray the kitchen and dish room floors down.
  • Clean counters in dish room with clean rag and cleaning solution, drain dishwashers.
  • Deliming buffet line and the cold areas.
  • Deliming bar sinks and glass machines.
  • Retrieve scrubber from custodial room and scrub both the kitchen and dish room floor and visually inspect all food outlets for additional scrubbing.
  • Empty and return the scrubber.
  • After using scrubber on floors, mop kitchen and dish room floor with just water.
  • Replace all mats, racks, dish racks and garbage containers.
  • sweeping entire floor areas of all food outlets.
