We are actively hiring a Front Desk Receptionist / Patient Scheduler at the Murrieta site location. This site is part of our Greater Los Angeles oncology research network and was formerly operated as Valkyrie Clinical Trials. We are proud to welcome the Valkyrie team into the Flourish Research network.
The Front Desk Receptionist / Patient Scheduler is an essential member of our team. They ensure smooth administrative operations while providing an impeccable patient experience in every interaction. Our receptionist is responsible for creating a welcoming, positive, and supportive environment for patients. They are the gatekeepers, setting the example of what patients can expect during their care journey at Flourish Research!
Shift: Monday-Friday, 8:30 AM - 5 PM (occasional weekends)
Location: 25405 Hancock Ave, Ste 110, Murrieta, CA 92562
Compensation: $20/hr - $25/hr, depending on experience

Responsibilities

  • Support site leadership and members of the research team by working on various projects as requested and assigned
  • Manage front desk operations including patient check-in, communications, and general administrative support
  • Answer phones and clinic appointment management, requiring interaction with both internal staff, patients, and vendors
  • Prepare and maintain patient charts and documentation
  • Ensure exam rooms are ready and stocked throughout the day
  • Request and manage medical records requests
  • Make phone calls to patients for appointment reminders and as needed.
  • Assist in event planning
  • Prioritize and manage multiple projects simultaneously, and follow through on issues in a timely manner
  • Perform occasional local pickups or deliveries as needed
  • Order and manage site supplies and assist with basic procurement needs
  • Sorting and delivering mail
  • Manage invoices and receipts as well as patients' reimbursement
  • Schedule maintenance as needed
  • Other clerical duties as assigned

Requirements

  • Minimum education requirement of a High School Diploma or an Associate's Degree
  • Medical office administrative experience is preferred
  • Medical assisting experience is a plus
  • High level of integrity and accountability
  • Ability to maintain a professional and positive attitude
  • Excellent interpersonal, customer service, quality, and communication skills (written and oral)
  • Takes initiative, is a team player, and can adapt well to a changing environment
  • Strong decision-making skills and attention to detail
