Description
The Parts & Reception Associate plays a key role in supporting the operations of the appliance store by assisting customers with parts orders, processing payments, maintaining accurate records, and providing professional front-desk support. This position primarily works in the Parts Department but also rotates at the receptionist desk as needed to greet customers and handle incoming calls.
The position will be Tuesday through Saturday with Sunday and Monday's off.
Requirements
Parts Department Duties:
  • Assist customers in person and by phone with parts inquiries and orders.
  • Research and identify correct appliance parts using model numbers or product details.
  • Create and process parts orders through the store's POS or inventory system.
  • Receive, organize, and stock incoming parts shipments.
  • Maintain accurate records of orders, returns, and inventory adjustments.
  • Process customer payments, returns, and exchanges accurately.
  • Communicate with vendors or distributors regarding parts availability, pricing, and order status.
  • Support technicians and sales staff with parts information and internal orders.

Reception & Customer Service Duties:
  • Greet and assist customers in a professional and friendly manner.
  • Answer incoming calls, direct calls to appropriate departments, and take messages.
  • Schedule service appointments or route service calls as needed.
  • Handle customer inquiries and payments at the front desk.
