Job description

Purpose:
We are seeking Freelance Graphics Producers/Operators to join our team and assist in overseeing the strategic planning, development, and execution of projects within the organization, with a focus on broadcasting live sporting events and managing the Production Control Room. The Freelancer Graphics Operators will work closely with senior management to ensure that goals are met in a timely and efficient manner. This is not a full time position, and individuals will be asked to support our team on a per game basis.
Essential Duties/Responsibilities:
  • Ability to operate a graphics machine in live sports productions.
  • Setup and test multiple graphics machines throughout the week in advance of the live production.
  • Work with producers during the week to prepare content for broadcasts.
  • Ability to multitask and juggle multiple productions from a pre-production standpoint simultaneously.
  • Work with on-air talent to discuss ideas and content for broadcasts.
  • Work live broadcasts in a control room setting as a graphics producer/operator as needed.
  • Coordinate with internal staff and clients on sponsored elements and approvals.
  • Other duties as assigned

Position Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in a related field is preferred but not required
  • 2-3 years' experience working in a live broadcast environment
  • Proficient in all graphics machines, specifically Ross Xpression
  • Working knowledge in Adobe Suite, specifically Premiere, After Effects and Photoshop.
  • Willing and able to work flexible hours, nights, weekends and holidays.
  • An avid sports fan, specifically soccer.
  • Must thrive in a fast-paced, team environment
