ASIC/FPGA Verification Engineer Level 5 | El Segundo, California, United States ASIC/FPGA Verification Engineer Level 5 - Hybrid (El Segundo or Huntington Beach, CA) About the Role Indotronix is seeking a highly experienced ASIC/FPGA Verification Engineer Level 5 to join our innovative team, supporting advanced projects at our El Segundo or Huntington Beach, CA locations. This hybrid position offers the flexibility of remote work with just one day per week onsite, a collaborative environment, and the chance to influence next-generation hardware verification. Drive complex verification strategies and gain exposure to leading-edge ASIC/FPGA technologies. Responsibilities - Develop and implement robust ASIC/FPGA verification environments using UVM and SystemVerilog - Build self-checking, reusable testbenches from scratch, leveraging Object-Oriented Programming principles - Create functional coverage models and perform code coverage analysis to guarantee thorough simulation verification - Set up and execute regression tests while tracking coverage metrics to ensure complete design validation - Support FPGA-based prototyping and validation activities tailored to program and system requirements - Partner with cross-functional teams to align verification approaches with project objectives and deadlines Required Skills and Experience - Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Data Science, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, or a directly related discipline - 10-15 years' experience in ASIC/FPGA verification - Deep expertise in SystemVerilog, SystemVerilog Assertions, and UVM - Proven ability to design and implement self-checking, reusable testbenches - Strong understanding of Object-Oriented Programming, including Inheritance and Polymorphism - Demonstrated experience in developing functional coverage models and achieving code coverage closure - Proficient with waveform debug tools and revision control systems such as svn, cvs, git - Comfortable working in Linux environments Preferred Skills - 15+ years' related experience or equivalent advanced education - Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering/Science, or related field - Experience with hardware-based integration and test of ASIC/FPGA designs - Hands-on knowledge of hardware emulators (especially Palladium) - Familiarity with high-speed Serdes interfaces (JESD204C, PCIe, Ethernet) - Scripting proficiency (Make, Perl, Python) - Understanding of space-based design and radiation mitigation techniques - Proven record of 1st pass success in ASIC design Benefits - Hybrid work arrangement (only 1 day onsite per week) - Competitive compensation - Exposure to cutting-edge ASIC/FPGA projects and career advancement opportunities - Collaborative, expert-driven team culture How to Apply Ready to elevate your career?
