Status: Full-time
Summary:
The Coordinator, Social Media will be responsible for programming, copywriting, and collaboration on content ideation with our social and creative teams, in support of the Formula 1 Miami Grand Prix, the Miami International Autodrome and the Precision Drive Club. The ideal candidate is a team-first self-starter with a deep understanding of how people consume and engage with social content, an eye for detail, and who stays up-to-date on emerging platforms, industry trends, and best practices.
Location:
  • This is a full-time position based on site at Hard Rock Stadium in Miami Gardens, FL.

Responsibilities:
  • Execute the brands’ social media strategy across all digital platforms, creating engaging content that grows audience, fan engagement, and brand awareness
  • Develop, plan and maintain content calendar to ensure that our brands stay top of mind and consistent on all platforms (Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, X, YouTube, LinkedIn)
  • Work with Social Media Manager to create co-branded sponsored content and execute contracted deliverables.
  • Collaborate with Marketing, Communications, Creative, Events and Corporate Partnerships to execute integrated campaigns and fulfill sponsored digital assets
  • Monitor social media trends, fan conversations, and platform updates to identify opportunities for timely, creative, and engaging content
  • Capture, edit, and publish short-form video at races, games, major community initiatives, events, and more with the goal to publish engaging content that captures fans attention
  • Generate social analytics reports using measurement tools to measure campaign success and analyze content performance
  • Monitor emerging platforms and help brainstorm new ways to leverage them for brand development.
  • Understand and follow social policies of Formula 1
  • Understand the Influencer environment / Creator economy, managing activations with Influencers, their agents and/or social agencies
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s or Associate’s Degree with 2 years of relevant work experience in professional sports, collegiate athletics, entertainment, or live events
  • Self-starter and a forward thinker with a desire to collaborate in a team-based culture
  • Strong understanding for Formula 1
  • Ability to work with different departments and multi-task to prioritize social requests
  • Must be able to demonstrate a strong knowledge base of social media platforms
  • Openness to work long days, holidays, and weekends, to be on-call out of traditional working hours
  • Demonstrated ability to communicate and interact professionally amongst key stakeholders
  • Makes decisions in best interests of brand and organization
  • Familiar with AirTable, Emplifi, Meta Business Suite or similar social media management platforms
  • Proficient with Adobe Creative suite and other graphic amp; video editing software
