Description

SAIC is seeking an MQ-9 Flight Simulator Field Service Representative (FSR) to provide software and systems support for the MALET JSIL Aircrew Trainer (MJAT) located at Nellis Air Force Base, NV. The MALET-JSIL Aircrew Trainer (MJAT) is a plug-and-play training capability that converts a tactical MQ-9 Reaper ER Ground Control Station (GCS) into a flight training simulator. The system enables UAS/RPA operators to conduct simulation training as part of initial qualification and follow-on continuation training to maintain proficiency and currency in all required operator tasks. In addition to MJAT support, the FSR will provide software, hardware, and systems support for the JSIL Mission Debrief System (JMDS), the MJAT Rehearsal Local Network (MRLn), the MJAT Stand-alone Trainer (MSAT), and future systems within the MJAT family.

JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITES:

  • Provide software and systems support for the MALET JSIL Aircrew Trainer (MJAT)
  • Provide software and systems support for the MJAT Rehearsal Local Network (MRLn)
  • Provide software and systems support for the JSIL Mission Debrief System (JMDS)
  • Provide software and systems support for the MJAT Stand-alone Trainer (MSAT)
  • Integrate GOTS, COTS, and EOM software and hardware components, and apply knowledge of wired networking and life cycle sustainment
  • Deliver on-site technical support, operational training, and assistance in developing training scenarios
  • Serve as the JSIL representative to the customer

Qualifications

REQUIRED EDUCATION:

  • BS degree and two (2) years of experience; four (4) years of experience accepted in lieu of degree

REQUIRED SKILLS:

  • Intermediate experience troubleshooting IT systems and hardware to support end-users and maintain system uptime
  • Understanding of classified systems handling procedures and ability to work in secure environments
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in an operational environment
  • Ability to read and interpret system diagrams, rack layouts, and cable schematics

REQUIRED CLEARANCE:

  • Active Secret Clearance with ability to obtain Top Secret/SCI
