Overview
Turner Staffing Group is hiring a Production Dozer Operator to support a mining operation in Hinkley, California. This is a key production role responsible for efficiently pushing, spreading, and grading material to support material movement across the site.
If you're an experienced operator who takes pride in productivity, precision, and safety, this is an opportunity to be part of a high-performing operation with room to grow.
Key Responsibilities
- Operate a bulldozer to push, spread, and grade overburden, ore, or aggregate material
- Maintain consistent production rates while minimizing rework and material loss
- Ensure proper dozing techniques to maximize efficiency and equipment longevity
- Conduct pre-shift and post-shift inspections of equipment
- Identify and report mechanical issues or unsafe conditions
- Follow all site safety policies and MSHA regulations
- Communicate effectively with haul truck drivers, dispatch, and supervisors
- Maintain clean work areas, haul roads, and stockpiles, and assist with general production support as needed
Qualifications
- Proven experience operating a dozer in a mining, quarry, or heavy civil environment
- Strong understanding of grading, material handling, and production goals
- Valid driver's license required
- MSHA certification (preferred; may be required prior to start)
- Ability to work in a physically demanding outdoor environment
- Strong situational awareness and commitment to safety
- Reliable transportation and consistent attendance
