Job description

FULL TIME-DAYS
Scope of Work
The Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) Tutor Senior will assist with onboarding and directly training staff (Behavior technicians and ABA Tutors) and practicum/student trainees in providing 1:1 ABA (Applied Behavior Analysis) therapy to children diagnosed with autism spectrum disorder (ASD) or other developmental. Ability to effectively train and monitor behavioral treatment delivered by ABA tutor(s), behavioral technician(s), or practicum/student trainee(s). Additionally, the Aba Tutor Senior will develop and facilitate lesson plans for group instruction as directed by Board-Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA)
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in psychology or related field required
  • minimum of 500 hours of supervised experience in the application of behavioral principles to children diagnosed with autism spectrum disorders required.
  • Previous ABA Tutor experience required.
  • Strong organizational and social skills, able to interact appropriately with young developmentally delayed children, manage numerous tasks simultaneously in a fast-paced environment; interact with parents, staff and school personnel in a professional manner. Ability to give and receive feedback in a professional manner; ability to train others to implement curriculum and behavioral interventions as directed by the Clinical Manager.
