Job Summary - Video Production Designer

PureCars is seeking a Video Production Designer to join our Creative team to help serve the advertising needs of our automotive clients throughout the US and Canada. The Video Production Designer will partner with our internal Business Development team working with various automotive brands to create 100s of videos each month. They will help build and utilize video templates used for these programs to efficiently create and update the videos as needed throughout the month. The Video Designer will also partner with internal account managers and our Performance team to create digital design assets to be seen by users across social media, programmatic display and Youtube advertisements.

What You’ll Do:

  • Create, revise, and assemble a wide variety of digital assets for display, social, mobile, and video ads using the Adobe Creative Suite including After Effect, Premiere, Photoshop, etc.

  • Learn and understand the specific requirements for all automotive OEM video advertising guidelines and ensure that all work meets departmental standards and OEM compliance regulations.

  • Utilize dynamic video tools and work with importing data to various video templates to render out large batches of video. 

  • Organizing and keeping track of various large batches of videos in the creation, rendering, or approval process.

  • Help build new design templates to quickly replicate creative assets across multiple client groups and use existing templates to update or create new monthly video ads.

  • Take direction and requests from customers to create new videos while incorporating specific footage callout text, banners/graphics, design aesthetic, and/or specific audio.

  • Proactively communicate with internal teams to ensure that video project updates, general questions, or follow-up are happening as needed.

  • Excellent eye for detail combined with a creative mind for developing catchy, intuitive video materials. 

The Skills and Experience You Bring:

 

  • Prior experience in video design and creation using Adobe Creative Suite (After Effects, Adobe Premiere, Adobe Photoshop, etc.) either directly for a brand or with an agency.

  • Strong knowledge of ad layout principles and aesthetic design concepts as well as current online media trends and technology.

  • Being organized and having systems to keep yourself on track 

  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-oriented environment in which meticulous attention to detail is required.

  • Ability to work fairly independently and are reliable to prioritize and complete tasks in the most efficient order

  • Keyframe animation knowledge including ease in/ease out and elements in motion is a major plus.

  • Experience in audio editing such as knowing how to trim, edit, adjust levels, and fade in and out is a major plus. 

  • The ability to write basic ad copy or scripts for videos is a plus.
