About the Role

At Shoppers Supply, customer service is at the heart of everything we do. As a Retail Supervisor (Key Holder), you'll play an important leadership role by helping create an exceptional shopping experience, supporting your team, and keeping the store running smoothly. Whether you're serving as the Manager-on-Duty, coaching team members, helping customers find the right products, or ensuring the sales floor is ready for business, your leadership helps set the standard for every shift.

This is a full-time role reporting directly to the Store Manager.

What You'll Be Doing

Lead the Team

• Serve as Manager-on-Duty when scheduled, providing direction and support to the store team.

• Lead by example, promoting a positive, productive, and customer-focused work environment.

• Coach and encourage team members while helping prioritize daily tasks and store operations.

• Step in wherever needed to keep the business running smoothly.

• Report directly to the Store Manager, helping carry out store priorities and standards on the floor.

Deliver Outstanding Customer Service

• Provide exceptional service by assisting customers and helping resolve questions or concerns professionally.

• Support cashiers and department associates during busy periods to maintain a positive shopping experience.

• Build strong relationships with customers by providing knowledgeable, friendly, and dependable service.

Support Daily Store Operations

• Open and close the store following company security and operational procedures.

• Complete cash handling responsibilities, including safe counts and register balancing.

• Ensure the store is clean, organized, fully stocked, properly signed, and ready for customers.

• Verify merchandising, pricing, and promotional displays are accurate and maintained.

• Identify and communicate operational, safety, or maintenance concerns promptly.

• Support company policies and procedures while helping maintain a safe environment for customers and team members.


What We're Looking For

• Previous retail experience; leadership or supervisory experience preferred.

• Farm, ranch, outdoor, feed, or agricultural retail experience is a plus.

• Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.

• Ability to remain calm, organized, and confident in a fast-paced environment.

• A positive attitude with a passion for serving customers and supporting teammates.

• Experience with point-of-sale and inventory systems preferred.

• Reliable attendance and the flexibility to work days, evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Requirements:

• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and safely move merchandise throughout the store.

• Ability to stand, walk, bend, squat, climb ladders, and perform the physical demands of retail throughout the shift.

• Comfortable operating store equipment, including pallet jacks, forklifts (training provided if needed), hand trucks, computers, and cash registers.

• Commitment to following all company safety policies and procedures.
