What does a full time farm diesel mechanic do?

A Full Time Farm Diesel Mechanic is responsible for maintaining, diagnosing, and repairing diesel-powered equipment commonly used on farms, such as tractors, harvesters, and trucks. Their work involves conducting regular inspections, performing preventative maintenance, and troubleshooting engine and machinery issues to ensure optimal performance. They also handle tasks like replacing worn parts, tuning engines, and keeping maintenance records. These mechanics are essential for minimizing equipment downtime and supporting the daily operations of agricultural businesses.
