Position Overview:
Express Employment is partnering with a local Reynolds ND company who is seeking a reliable and experienced Diesel Mechanic to join their team. This position is responsible for maintaining, diagnosing, and repairing farm equipment and diesel-powered vehicles to ensure safe and efficient operations. The ideal candidate is dependable, detail-oriented, and comfortable working in a fast-paced agricultural environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Diagnose and repair diesel engines, tractors, trucks, trailers, and other farm equipment

  • Perform routine maintenance including oil changes, filter replacements, brake work, and preventative inspections

  • Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems

  • Maintain accurate service and repair records

  • Respond quickly to equipment breakdowns to minimize downtime

  • Ensure all equipment meets safety and operational standards

  • Maintain a clean and organized shop area

  • Follow all safety policies and procedures

Qualifications:

  • Previous experience as a diesel mechanic (agricultural equipment experience preferred)

  • Strong knowledge of diesel engines, hydraulics, and electrical systems
