Are you a dedicated and compassionate Advanced Practice Registered Nurse with a passion for emergency care? York General is seeking an APRN to join our Emergency Department team in York, Nebraska.
As an APRN in our Emergency Department, you'll serve as the ER provider during scheduled shifts. You'll deliver immediate, expert care to patients of all ages experiencing acute illness, trauma, and medical emergencies. Your role is vital to ensuring rapid assessments, stabilizations, and interventions.

What You'll Do
  • Act as the provider in the ER during night shift hours.
  • Perform medical screening exams, diagnose, and manage emergency conditions.
  • Conduct procedures such as suturing, splinting, wound care, abscess drainage, and more.
  • Collaborate closely with an interdisciplinary team to provide excellent patient outcomes.
  • Educate patients and families on treatment plans and post-care instructions.
  • Admit patients when inpatient care is required and coordinate appropriate referrals.

Qualifications
  • Master's, post-master's, or doctoral NP degree (CCNE or NLNAC accredited)
  • Current NE licensure as an RN and NP
  • National certification (ANCC or equivalent)
  • ACLS, PALS, and ATLS certifications
  • Minimum 3 years of APRN experience in acute care
