Job description

You've spent years maintaining complex equipment under pressure. LiftOne wants that skill set on their team. This is a 90–120 day SkillBridge internship that converts to full-time employment — working on forklifts and material handling equipment at customer sites.

LiftOne is a fourth-generation, family-owned material handling dealer under the Weisiger Group — their 100th year in business.

WHAT YOU'LL WORK ON

• Forklifts and material handling equipment (gas, diesel, LP, and electric)

• Hydraulic systems — diagnosis, repair, and maintenance

• Electrical systems — troubleshooting and repair

• Diesel and gas engines — tune-ups, overhauls, and diagnostics

• Preventative maintenance and safety inspections at customer sites

REQUIREMENTS

• Currently enlisted in the U.S. military and eligible for DoD SkillBridge

• Able to complete a 90–120 day SkillBridge internship

• Hands-on background in mechanical, hydraulic, or electrical systems

• Valid driver's license with clean MVR

• Able to work independently in the field

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

Lifting up to 50 lbs, prolonged standing, bending, kneeling, and working in varying environmental conditions. All requirements can be met with or without reasonable accommodation.
