We started in 1991 after purchasing the business from another owner. There has been a Ford store in Durand since the 40's or 50's!

We have plenty of service work for a Master Technician and our excited to learn about you. We are specifically looking for a Senior Master Technician to join our team and lead our shop in technical excellence.

Job Description

Bryden Ford is seeking an elite, Ford Senior Master Certified Technician.

This is an on-site position in Durand, IL. As a Senior Master, you will be our technical authority, handling the most complex engine, transmission, and electrical diagnostics while enjoying the support of a management team that respects your expertise and your time. We will provide "gravy work" to be sure you can meet your weekly hourly goals, too.

Pay
  • $40 - $50 per flat rate hour

Elite Flat Rate Compensation. We offer a highly aggressive pay plan tailored to Senior Master certifications. We are prepared to have a confidential conversation regarding your current production and how we can exceed your previous package.

Work Requirements
  • Current Ford Senior Master Certification required.

  • Ability to work on-site in Durand, IL

  • Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.

  • Ability to pass a background check and drug screening.

  • Ownership of a comprehensive set of professional tools.

Responsibilities
  • Perform expert-level diagnostics and repairs on all Ford vehicle systems.

  • Lead the shop in complex "heavy" repairs, including engine and transmission overhauls.

  • Execute all warranty and recall repairs to exacting manufacturer standards.

  • Act as a mentor and technical resource for line technicians and apprentices.

  • Provide clear, professional documentation for all diagnostic findings.

  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe high-performance work bay.

  • Stay current on all Ford factory training and new model year certifications.

Qualifications
  • 5+ years of experience in a Ford Service environment.

  • Mastery of Ford diagnostic software (IDS/FDRS).

  • Proven track record of "Fixed Right First Time" performance.

  • Professional work ethic and a desire for long-term career stability.

  • Strong analytical skills and the ability to solve the "unsolvable" problems.
