Job description

We are seeking an experienced Operating Room Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team at a fast-paced Ambulatory Surgery Center (ASC). The OR RN will provide high-quality perioperative nursing care to patients undergoing outpatient surgical procedures. The ideal candidate has strong clinical skills, excellent teamwork abilities, and experience working in an operating room environment.
Responsibilities
  • Provide direct nursing care to patients before, during, and after surgical procedures.
  • Serve as circulating nurse in the operating room.
  • Prepare operating rooms, instruments, and supplies for surgical cases.
  • Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesia providers, and surgical technicians to ensure safe patient care.
  • Monitor patient condition and maintain sterile environment during procedures.
  • Ensure accurate documentation in accordance with regulatory and facility standards.
  • Educate patients and families on pre-operative and post-operative care.
  • Follow infection control, safety, and ASC protocols.

Qualifications
  • Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in MA.
  • BLS and ACLS certification required.
  • Minimum 2 years of Operating Room experience required.
  • Ambulatory Surgery Center experience preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of sterile technique and perioperative nursing practices.
  • Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced surgical environment.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
