About the Role

As part of the growth of GoSec 2026, we are looking for a Senior Event Coordinator to support the organization and execution of our annual cybersecurity conference, which brings together over 1,500 participants, partners, and speakers from across Canada and internationally.

The selected candidate will play a key role in the operational coordination of the event, sponsor management, speaker relations, and overall logistical follow-up before, during, and after the event.

We are seeking an organized, autonomous, and solution-oriented individual who thrives in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.


ResponsibilitiesEvent Coordination
  • Participate in planning and executing events
  • Ensure follow-up on timelines and action plans
  • Coordinate internal and external stakeholders
  • Participate in production meetings and ensure required follow-ups
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of event processes

Sponsor & Partner Management
  • Act as the main point of contact for certain partners and sponsors
  • Manage deliverables, including:
    • visibility
    • promotional materials
    • booths
    • tickets
    • technical requirements
  • Ensure agreements and timelines are respected

Speaker Coordination
  • Communicate with speakers
  • Collect biographies, photos, and presentations
  • Coordinate logistical and technical needs
  • Prepare briefing documents and schedules

Logistics & Operations
  • Collaborate with vendors and production partners
  • Support on-site coordination during the event
  • Help manage unexpected issues and operational priorities
  • Contribute to delivering a positive experience for participants and partners

Qualifications
  • College or university degree in a relevant field:

  • 2 to 5 years of relevant experience in event coordination or project management
  • Strong organizational and prioritization skills
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
  • Excellent communication skills in both French and English (written and spoken)
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and collaboration tools
  • Availability to occasionally work outside regular hours during events
