Job Description We are seeking a Sales Engineer to drive business through lively, informative and collaborative engagement with prospective clients. They are responsible for gathering requirements, providing product demonstrations, supporting RFPs, driving the creation of SOWs, delivering technical presentations, and collaborating with Sales as well as customers and other internal departments. This position is based full-time in the Denver office. Responsibilities Provide pre-sales support to Sales team, partners and prospective customers. Presentations and demonstrations of CoStar Real Estate Manager applications and future applications as the company grows. Implementation Services plan development. Proof of concept management and delivery. Support and ownership of all technical aspects of sales pursuit. Respond to the technical components of RFI's/RFP's as required. Provide feedback and direction to effectively selling/differentiating CoStar Real Estate Manager, and any future, applications. Assist and provide input to internal departments such as Product Management. Travel required as needed, up to 25%. Basic Qualifications Bachelor's degree required from an accredited, not-for-profit, in-person college/university. 1+ years of experience in related sales engineer role or similar technical selling experience in SaaS environment. A track record of commitment to prior employers. Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to simplify technical concepts. Familiarity with tools such as Salesforce or similar sales enablement platforms. Satisfactory completion of a Driving Record/Driving Abstract check prior to start. Driving history must reflect responsible driving behavior and compliance with traffic laws. Preferred Qualifications Demonstrated ability to build long-term and sustainable relationships and business partnerships with clients at all levels. Real estate software solutions experience areas such as lease management, IWMS, lease accounting, project management software, etc. Effective internal relationship building skills (superiors, peers, teams, company-wide) and externally (sales channels, customers, etc.). Ability to be flexible and adapt to changing situations at a high growth company. Knowledge of, and experience in, finance and accounting applications and ERPs. Knowledge of basic accounting concepts and familiarity with accounting and ERP systems. Knowledge of the commercial real estate market and industry is a plus. An understanding of, and experience in selling, CoStar products and services. Proven experience with CRM application like salesforce and effective use and process enforcement. What's in it for you?
