Job description

Position Details:
  • Location: Morton Plant Hospital, Clearwater, FL
  • Status: Full Time, Exempt: No
  • Shift Hours: 7:30 AM - 4:00 PM
  • Weekend Work: Every Other
  • On Call: No

Responsibilities:
  • Coordinates the daily operations of the environmental services team.
  • Observes the quality of environmental services team members by conducting weekly inspections of areas of responsibility.
  • Maintains records of special cleaning, floor and other projects.
  • Communicates with customers to resolve problems and supports team members.
  • Coordinates bed tracking systems to ensure prompt completion of discharge cleaning.
  • Organizes the receiving and storing of supplies to meet service requirements.
  • Serves as a departmental liaison for all internal and external customers.
  • In emergencies, performs all aspects of the environmental services positions.

Minimum Qualifications:
  • Required experience is 1 year in a Lead/Supervisor role or 6 months in a BayCare Environmental Services Technician Senior position.
  • Preferred certification include CHEST
  • Education: HS Graduate or Equivalent GED
