Are you an Environmental Engineer or Geologist who enjoys both the technical challenge of solving complex environmental problems and the client-facing side of developing relationships and winning work? Our Greensboro, NC office is growing, and we are looking for a leader who can manage projects, provide technical oversight, mentor staff, and drive business opportunities in the local market.

Since 1974, our Greensboro office has partnered with clients in public, private, energy, and transportation sections. From schools and hospitals to industrial facilities and pipelines, our projects improve the places where people live and work. Your Day-to-Day:

  • Conduct and oversee field activities, including soil and groundwater sampling, drilling operations, and monitoring well installation
  • Analyze environmental data and contribute to technical reports and regulatory documentation
  • Collaborate on project planning and execution to ensure quality standards and regulatory compliance
  • Communicate effectively with clients and stakeholders
  • Prepare proposals, manage project schedules, and track deadlines
  • Evaluate budgets and support business development initiatives

What You Bring:

  • A Bachelor's degree in Environmental Engineering, Geology, Environmental Sciences, or a related field
  • 5+ years of professional environmental engineering or geology experience
  • Strong project management and leadership skills
  • Excellent business development abilities, and existing client relationships in the local market are preferred
  • A Professional Engineer (PE) or Professional Geologist (PG) license
