Job description

Performance Driven Workforce (PDW) is now hiring Full-time Entry-Level Assemblers to work with a leading Tier 1 automotive supplier. The Full-time Entry-Level Assemblers role will assist and learn from a senior assembler. The Full-time Entry-Level Assemblers will perform basic manufacturing and cleaning work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. This Full-time Entry-Level Assemblers position is based out of Livonia, MI. and offers an AM day shift and possible overtime. Candidates meeting the requirements for this Full-time Entry-Level Assemblers position below are strongly encouraged to apply.
Shift Schedule:
  • AM day shift: 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM (Monday – Friday, plus overtime when needed)
Responsibilities:
  • Assist a senior Assembler with assembling products and sub-components to support vehicle production and other products
  • Support vehicle and material movement in and around facility
  • Follow electronic build book for assembly instructions
  • Clean and prepare components and vehicles for production
  • Maintain a clean and safe work environment
  • Follow established safety procedures.
Requirements:
  • Must be 18 years of age or older
  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • 1 – 3+ years of experience required
  • Proficient with computer usage
  • Ability to learn and follow written instructions
  • Ability to perform fine hand manipulation
  • Knowledge of tools and their use
  • Ability to focus on details and quality of work
Preferred Qualifications:
  • High School automotive shop class(es)
  • Experience performing personal vehicle maintenance
  • Valid driver’s license and good driving record
  • Ability to work overtime as needed including weekends
