As an Software Engineer, you will be part of a team developing and supporting system archive services and associated tools for an SIGINT processing systems. The service will allow storage, access and retrieval for all data produced by the system, and tools for end-user access. The team develops and maintains RESTful services, large data stores, and web-based thin-client software applications
Responsibilities:
• Design, develop and maintain full stack, web-based capabilities/applications
• Design, develop and maintain micro-services interacting with a large database and a collection of other microservices
• Test, deploy and maintain software applications
• Configure and run large data stores
• Assist with developing, maintaining and utilizing DevSecOps pipelines
• Migrate components to new environments
• Coordinate with other software and integration teams
. Design and coordinate interfaces with external components.
• Follow and help refine software development processes
• Conduct code reviews
• Derive requirements through interactions with customers/users
Required Qualifications:
• Software Development Skills / experience - Java, JavaScript
• Interface Design, Security Principles, Object-Oriented Design, Web Services
• Understanding of User Interfaces (UI)s, cross-browser compatibility, general web functions and standards
• Linux/Unix proficiency
• TS/SCI clearance, willing to complete CI Poly
• Certifications such as Security+ or CISSP, or willing to attain them.
Desired Qualifications:
• Working in Agile and DevOps / DevSecOps processes
• Additional programing skills / experience - Golang, Python
• Familiarity with micro-service architectures
• Familiarity with software components such as Angular, Kubernetes, Docker, Helm, MongoDB, Kafka, RabbitMQ
• Familiarity with development tools such as Git / Bitbucket, Confluence / Jira, Gitlab
• Experience working in cloud environments (AWS)
• Familiarity or experience with SIGINT processing systems
• Familiarity with signal processing software applications

There are a host of factors that can influence final salary including, but not limited to, geographic location, Federal Government contract labor categories and contract wage rates, relevant prior work experience, specific skills and competencies, education, and certifications.
