Location: Denver, CO

Work Setting: Full-time, Monday–Friday, with occasional evening, weekend, and overtime work depending on project needs. This is a field-based role supporting project sites throughout the Denver metro area. Most project sites are generally within about 40 miles of Denver, and assignments may change daily or remain consistent for a few weeks depending on the project. Outdoor work in varying weather conditions is required.

Compensation: $18.00 to $38.00 per hour

Compensation is based on experience, certifications, education, and overall qualifications. Candidates with no prior industry experience are typically targeted around $21/hour, with flexibility for stronger candidates based on qualifications and certification potential.

Company Vehicle: A company vehicle is provided for field assignments and is typically taken home by employees. The vehicle is intended for work-related travel.


Position Overview

Who This Position Is For

Engineering Technician I Requirements:

• High school diploma or GED

• Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record

• No prior industry experience required

• Preferred: Industry certifications related to construction materials testing, soils, concrete, or geotechnical services

• Bachelor’s degree in Geology may be considered in lieu of some experience and certifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Geotechnical Engineering, or a related field may be considered in lieu of some experience and certifications
