Your Skills are Learned and Earned


Your commitment to fairness, accuracy, transparency and impeccable journalism ethics comes from education and real world experience. To start, you have a bachelor's degree or diploma in Journalism, or a related field. You have experience in a newsroom setting. You have exceptional writing and editing skills and a thorough knowledge of CP style. You will have the ability to build strong relationships with those inside our Village and within the communities we serve. Familiarity with the Niagara Region is a must!


Your Responsibilities:


  • Lead an editorial team in St. Catharines

  • Guide and develop a skilled team of writers and editors

  • Ensure all content is impeccable and exercise excellent editorial judgment

  • Demonstrate comprehensive community coverage


You will need to have a valid driver's licence and a reliable vehicle. The successful candidate must live in or near St. Catharines, Ontario.


Salary Range: $55,000 - $65,000
