Uplands Counseling Center Associates is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) to join our growing team. The role is designed to provide maximum flexibility, allowing our therapists to work remotely while having access to well-equipped, modern offices for collaborative sessions when needed. Our outpatient setting creates a dynamic where therapists can focus on helping clients in individual, couple, and family therapy sessions, utilizing the latest digital technology to enhance therapeutic interactions. • Conducting comprehensive assessments to understand clients' mental health needs and family dynamics.
• Providing individual and couples therapy, focusing on evidence-based practices to improve interpersonal relationships and emotional wellbeing.
• Facilitating family therapy sessions that address communication issues, conflicts, and psychological challenges.
• Developing tailored treatment plans that incorporate techniques for managing issues such as job stress, separation, grief, and blended family situations.
• Maintaining accurate and confidential client records and progress notes in compliance with HIPAA regulations.
• Engaging in continuous professional development and collaboration with peers to stay informed about best practices in therapy.
• Participating in regular team meetings to discuss cases, share insights, and contribute to the center’s mission of clinical excellence.

The LMFT will work with a diverse clientele, including adults, children, and adolescents. You will engage with families experiencing various challenges, such as:

• Alcohol and substance abuse issues
• Physical and psychological trauma
• Grief and loss
• Communication difficulties and family conflicts
• Adjustment challenges related to separation and divorce
• Blend and adaptation concerns in remarried families

• Master's degree in Marriage and Family Therapy or a related field.
• Current and valid state license as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT).
• A minimum of two years of relevant clinical experience in a therapeutic setting.

Candidates with prior experience working in outpatient clinics, those familiar with teletherapy practices, and those who have successfully treated complex family dynamics will be prioritized.
