Job description

Caring Angels Home Care is looking for part-time and full-time dynamic Occupational Therapists for our Home based Pediatric cases. This position offers a base salary of $125,000.00 salary plus an excellent benefits package which includes: Medical and Dental insurance, 401k Plan after only 3 Months of Employment, 27 Paid Time Off Days, 10 Paid Holidays. FFS available at $100.00 rate per 30 minute Session. The option to cover case load on Weekends is available.


Our part-time and full-time positions offer therapists the option to have a personal driver pick you up from your home and drive you to your cases and then back home. Currently, we are the only agency in New York that offers this unique door-to-door car service!

Occupational Therapist Job Description:

Assessing the patient’s physical, communication and cognitive skills to develop a treatment plan

  • Giving advice and providing support for family members and Carers

  • Assessing the home, school and work environments of the patient

  • Helping children to take part in everyday activities based on their unique circumstances

  • Assisting patients’ exercise for pain relief

  • Reviewing the patient’s progress and adapting the treatment accordingly

  • Performing administrative tasks such as keeping records, writing reports and making telephone calls

Position Qualifications:

· Licensed by The State of New York as Occupational Therapist.

Education:

  • Master's (Preferred)

License/Certification:

  • Occupational Therapy License (Required)

    Schedule:

    • Monday to Friday

    • Weekends as needed

    Work setting:

    • In-person
