Description

J&S Inspections Company is hiring a full-time Distribution Construction Coordinator with a focus on Overhead and Underground services in the Benbrook/Arlington area. Some travel may be needed.

Job Duties

  • Responsible for the coordination of contract resources

  • Acts as a liaison between ONCOR electric delivery and various contractor resources

  • As-Built for material and log it for reconciliation purposes for billing and callouts

  • Schedules clearances night or day with DSA's

  • Works with the DOC for reclose requests

  • Resolves issues and answers questions from the field related to construction and maintenance projects, service orders and MWM

  • Fields contacts from contract crews

  • Promotes safety in work place for contractors

  • Assign projects to contract crews in ACIS for billing

  • Ability to learn and manage employer and client software such as WMIS/DIS, Mobile TC, Maximo, and Smart Grid Reports.

  • Working with coordinators to provide updates and ensure timely completion of projects

  • Ensure proper construction practices are followed to minimize costs, ensure all environmental laws and procedures are followed, verify proper permits are obtained for construction activity, verify construction practices comply with all prescribed ordinances, company policies, governmental regulations and the electric service guidelines, and communicate status of projects to interested parties as required

  • Capacity to coordinate numerous projects over large geographic areas

  • Working storm restoration as needed
