We are looking for a driver to join our Team in Palmer, MA!

Pay is at $23/hour.

The Driver safely operates the delivery vehicle and follows designated routes to deliver products to customers in a timely, organized manner. The driver is responsible for physically unloading product from the truck and moving product into customer locations.

This is a full-time position. The total hours per week are a minimum of 40 hours and may exceed 40 hours per week on a regular basis.

This position may occasionally require longer hours during peak business periods.

Duties and responsibilities

ยท Safely operate a box truck, driving various routes during business hours

ยท Deliver a wide variety of items to different addresses and through different routes on a daily basis

ยท Follow specific delivery routes and time schedule to meet customer delivery requirements

ยท Load and unload a delivery vehicle using hand trucks, pallet jacks, lift gates

ยท Maintain professional and courteous interactions with customer contacts at each delivery site

ยท Collect payments from customers in the form of cash or check. Obtain clear, legible signatures on all invoices and credit memos

ยท Learn use of DEX

ยท Understand and comply with DOT regulations.

ยท Complete driver medical certification every two years

ยท Handle all products with care to avoid damage and loss

ยท Maintain positive work relations; support teamwork and help coworkers to accomplish team goals

ยท Listen and communicate respectfully with employees at all levels within the organization

ยท Attendance: Maintain regular attendance and follow call out and time off procedures as outlined in the handbook.
