The Opportunity

The Quality Manager will lead day-to-day quality operations for a 24/5 manufacturing facility serving some of the most demanding consumer brands in the world.

You'll oversee a team of Quality Engineers, Technicians, and Inspectors while partnering closely with Operations, Production, Engineering, R&D, and Supply Chain to ensure product quality, food safety, regulatory compliance, and continuous improvement initiatives remain best-in-class.

This role is ideal for a leader who can balance technical expertise with strong interpersonal skills, influence cross-functional stakeholders, and successfully navigate a high-volume manufacturing environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and develop a team of quality professionals across multiple shifts
  • Drive GMP, HACCP, food safety, quality assurance, and compliance initiatives
  • Manage customer complaint investigations, corrective actions, and root cause analysis
  • Oversee internal audits, supplier quality programs, and regulatory compliance efforts
  • Maintain and improve ISO, food safety, and quality management systems
  • Partner with production and operations leadership to improve quality performance and reduce defects
  • Analyze quality metrics, SPC data, and process trends to identify improvement opportunities
  • Support continuous improvement projects focused on quality, efficiency, and customer satisfaction
  • Ensure traceability, documentation, product specifications, and quality records are maintained

What We're Looking For

  • Quality leadership experience within a regulated manufacturing environment
  • Experience leading quality teams in food packaging, food manufacturing, food ingredients, medical packaging, or similar industries
  • Strong knowledge of GMP, HACCP, food safety systems, and quality management principles
  • Experience with ISO certifications, auditing, corrective actions, and continuous improvement programs
  • Proven ability to influence production and operational stakeholders
  • Strong leadership, coaching, and employee development skills
  • Bachelor's degree preferred in Food Science, Packaging, Engineering, Quality, or a related field
