Now Hiring: Warehouse Driver

Springfield, IL  •  Full-Time  •  $20 – $22 per hour

Cardinal Building Materials is looking for a hardworking, dependable Warehouse Driver to join our Springfield, IL branch. This is a hands-on role where no two days are exactly the same: you’ll be behind the wheel making deliveries, helping customers in the branch, picking and loading orders, and keeping the warehouse running smoothly.


What You’ll Do

•       Make deliveries to job sites across the Springfield area

•       Assist customers at the branch with pickups and returns

•       Pick, load, and verify orders for accuracy

•       Operate a forklift to move and stage materials

•       Keep the warehouse and dock area clean and organized

•       Handle returns, paperwork, and inventory updates

•       Represent Cardinal professionally at every stop


What We’re Looking For

•       Valid CDL — or willingness to obtain one

•       Clean driving record

•       Reliable, punctual, and a strong work ethic

•       Comfortable in a physical, fast-paced environment

•       Friendly and professional with customers

•       Forklift experience a plus (we’ll train the right person)
