Job description

Part Time Courier

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Travels to Bank of Springfield branches in Springfield and Chatham to deliver mail to recipients at each location.
  • Employee may be responsible for vehicle care including but not limited to gas fill up, oil changes, and car wash as needed.
  • Following proper opening and closing procedures to maintain facility security.
  • As time allows employee will assist with the operation of the postage machine for outgoing mail.
  • Other projects/deliveries as assigned.


Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalency
  • Basic knowledge of bank policies and procedures
  • Basic communication skills
  • Must have a valid Driver’s License and proof of insurance.


Physical Demands

  • Individuals may need to sit or stand as needed
  • Walking primarily on a level surface for periods throughout the workday.
  • Reaching above shoulder heights, below the waist, or lifting as required filing documents or storing materials throughout the workday.
  • May include lifting up to 50 pounds on occasion. Proper lifting techniques required.
