Job description

The Staff Pad has partnered with a world-renowned fine art logistics and storage organization, to identify an experienced and detail-oriented Dock Master to support warehouse operations and oversee daily dock activities. As the Dock Master, you will play a critical role in managing the flow of inbound and outbound shipments, maintaining inventory accuracy, supporting warehouse operations, and ensuring the safe handling of high-value artwork, antiques, and fine furniture. Schedule: Full-Time What You'll Do Oversee daily dock operations and coordinate dock personnel activities Manage all incoming shipments from Cadogan Tate and third-party transportation providers Ensure the dock area remains clean, organized, and operationally efficient at all times Support the Warehouse Manager with inventory control and warehouse operations Maintain accurate inventory records through scanning and location tracking procedures Receive, locate, release, and relocate inventory throughout the warehouse as directed Assist with loading and unloading Cadogan Tate and third-party vehicles Handle, move, and store artwork, antiquities, and fine furniture with exceptional care Complete condition checks and prepare condition reports as needed Pack and prepare fine art, antiques, and furniture for transportation and storage Maintain accurate receiving, shipping, and inventory documentation Work collaboratively with warehouse personnel and leadership to support daily operations Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and operational standards Adhere to all health, safety, and OSHA guidelines Support a positive, professional, and team-oriented work environment What We're Looking For Previous warehouse, dock, logistics, inventory, or shipping/receiving experience Experience supervising or coordinating warehouse personnel preferred Experience with inventory management and scanning systems preferred Strong attention to detail, organizational, communication & teamwork skills Ability to handle valuable, fragile, and high-end items with care and professionalism Comfortable working in a fast-paced warehouse environment Ability to work independently while supporting a collaborative team environment Commitment to workplace safety and operational excellence Why Join This Opportunity.
