Primary Objectives of Position:

The Digital Marketing Analyst supports Destination Concepts’ marketing and client initiatives by leveraging data to inform strategy, optimize digital campaigns, and enable measurable business outcomes. This role focuses on analyzing multi-channel performance, supporting the execution of digital campaigns, and ensuring marketing and client data is structured for accuracy, accessibility, and actionable insights. The ideal candidate is analytical, detail-oriented, and collaborative, with a strong understanding of digital marketing channels and data-driven decision-making.

Major Areas of Accountability:

  • Digital Campaign Strategy & Execution:
    • Partner with Account Executives (Sales) to support the setup and deployment of client-facing digital marketing campaigns, including email marketing initiatives and targeted outreach.
    • Ensure campaigns are properly configured, tracked, and aligned with client objectives and internal marketing strategies.
    • Monitor campaign performance (open rates, click-through rates, conversions) and provide recommendations for optimization.
    • Support marketing automation efforts, including segmentation, workflows, and campaign scheduling.
  • Multi-Channel Analytics & Reporting:
    • Analyze performance across key digital channels including social media, email campaigns, and website activity to identify trends and opportunities.
    • Translate data into actionable insights to improve engagement, conversion, and overall campaign effectiveness.
    • Develop reporting dashboards and summaries to communicate performance to internal stakeholders.
    • Provide ongoing performance analysis to guide both marketing and client strategies.
  • Market Research & Competitive Analysis:
    • Conduct regular analysis of competitor marketing activity, campaign strategies, and digital presence.
    • Monitor industry trends, audience behavior, and emerging tools to inform recommendations.
    • Synthesize findings into clear insights that support business development, marketing planning, and client positioning.
  • Data Management & System Collaboration:
    • Partner with Systems and Operations teams to ensure client and campaign data is captured, structured, and maintained in a way that enables efficient reporting and analysis.
    • Identify gaps or inefficiencies in data collection and recommend improvements to data processes and systems.
    • Support integration between marketing platforms, CRM systems, and reporting tools to ensure data accuracy and accessibility.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration:
    • Work closely with marketing, creative, sales, and operations teams to align campaigns with client objectives and business goals.
    • Provide data-driven recommendations to inform messaging, timing, and campaign strategy.
    • Collaborate with internal teams and external partners to improve campaign outcomes and operational efficiency.
  • Operational Support & Coverage:
    • Provide department coverage for Senior Director, Marketing & Creative Services and Marketing Manager/Buyer as needed.

Knowledge and Skill Required

    • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Business Analytics, or related field.
    • 3–5 years of experience in digital marketing, marketing analytics, or campaign management.
    • Strong experience with marketing analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics, social media insights, email platforms) and CRM systems.
    • Proficiency in Excel and/or data visualization tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau).
    • Understanding of email marketing platforms and marketing automation tools – experience with Customer Insights – Journeys is a plus.
    • Ability to interpret data, identify trends, and translate insights into actionable recommendations.
    • Strong attention to detail, organization, and project management skills.
    • Excellent communication skills with the ability to present insights clearly to non-technical stakeholders.
