Job Summary
Victory Layne Chevrolet is looking for a motivated, independent and reliable full-time Diesel Technician to join our established automotive team in Fort Myers, Florida. This individual will report to the service manager, and be responsible for the diagnosis and repair of diesel engines and related systems.

Responsibilities
• Diagnose and perform repair work on diesel engines and associated components.
• Inspect, test, and maintain diesel powered vehicles and equipment to ensure efficient operation and conformance to established safety standards and regulations.
• Contact vendors for needed parts and supplies to complete assigned tasks.
• Read and accurately interpret service manuals and electrical/mechanical drawings.
• Document all work performed in work order logs and other related documents.
• Maintain the cleanliness of the shop.
Requirements
• High school diploma or equivalent
• 2+ years of experience working on diesel equipment and engines
• ASE certification is a plus, but not required
• Ability to lift up to 75 pounds
• Ability to troubleshoot and diagnose diesel engine issues
• Basic computer literacy
• Excellent customer service skills
