Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Dental Hygienist to join our dynamic dental team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in providing exceptional patient care, ensuring infection control, and maintaining the highest standards of dental hygiene. This position requires a strong commitment to patient education and comfort while utilizing advanced dental systems such as Eaglesoft and Dexis.

Responsibilities

-Perform thorough dental cleanings and examinations while adhering to aseptic techniques.

-Conduct documentation reviews to ensure accurate patient records and treatment plans.

-Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and the importance of regular dental visits.

-Assist in the management of infection control protocols within the dental office.

-Collaborate with dentists and other staff members to provide comprehensive patient care.

-Utilize dental software systems (Eaglesoft, Dexis) for scheduling, record keeping, and treatment planning.

-Maintain a clean and organized work environment, ensuring all tool and equipment are properly sterilized.

Qualifications

-Valid state license to practice as a Dental Hygienist.

-Experience is preferred but not required.

-Proficient in infection control practices and aseptic techniques.

-Familiarity with documentation review processes within a dental office environment.

-Strong interpersonal skills with a focus on patient care and comfort.

-Ability to work effectively as part of a team while also being self-motivated.
