Back On Track Orthopedic Center is seeking a dedicated Full-Time Orthopedic Physical Therapist to join our dynamic rehabilitation team in Portsmouth, Virginia. Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct thorough assessments of patients with functional limitations or disabilities, determining their individual needs and goals.
  • Develop and implement customized treatment plans, ensuring they align with best practices and professional standards.
  • Provide ongoing education to patients and their families on methods to maximize recovery and maintain physical wellness.
  • Document all treatments accurately and maintain compliance with legal and regulatory standards, including timely submission of service charges.
  • Engage in interdisciplinary collaboration, effectively communicating with other healthcare providers to ensure cohesive patient care.
  • Participate in community outreach programs aimed at raising awareness about orthopedic health and promoting the center's services.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Your primary focus will be on patients recovering from surgeries, injuries, and chronic conditions affecting their orthopedic health. This includes working with a diverse range of individuals across different age groups and backgrounds, where your skills in cultural competence and empathy will be essential in delivering exceptional service.

Qualifications
  • A Doctorate in Physical Therapy from an accredited institution is required.
  • Current state licensure in Physical Therapy and BLS certification are mandatory.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, combined with proficiency in computer systems and documentation processes.
  • Demonstrated ability to engage effectively with patients, families, and interdisciplinary teams.
Preferred Experience
  • Previous experience in an orthopedic rehabilitation setting is highly desirable.

Compensation and Benefits
