ABCI., a local mid-sized heavy civil construction company has an immediate opening for a
full-time, experienced Excavator Operator.
An Excavator Operator is responsible for the safe operation of heavy construction equipment.
Requirements:
โ€ข 5+ years of experience in Heavy Equipment Operation
โ€ข Safe operation of Excavator
Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
โ€ข Safely and efficiently operate heavy equipment of various sizes and weights.
โ€ข Properly follow all company policies and OSHA regulations for safe working procedures. Report
any problems to the Foreman, Superintendent, Safety Manager, or Human Resources Manager.
โ€ข Perform daily pre-and-post inspections with appropriate documentation in compliance with
company policies.
โ€ข Perform minor servicing and maintenance of equipment; refer major problems to the supervisor.
Clean equipment on a regular basis.
โ€ข Perform job tasks in accordance with industry best practices and requirements of the equipment
(lifting, bending, stooping, reaching, carrying, sitting, walking, and climbing).
โ€ข Effective Communication Skills (speech, vision, hearing/listening)
โ€ข Valid Driver's License
โ€ข Ability to pass pre-employment drug test
โ€ข Some OT may be required depending on weather & project status
โ€ข Perform other duties as required, directed, or as the situation dictates
