Summary:

Huntington Bank is looking for a Sr Business Systems Analyst (BSA) for our Enterprise Document Solutions team. In this role you will be part of an agile team working to develop batch letters, notices, statements, and checks from multiple systems of record for print and mail archive and online viewing as well as the management of a report archive. As an EDS Business Systems Analyst, you will work with the business to understand their needs, document business requirements and maintain backlog health.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Demonstrate an in-depth knowledge of a business area in the context of the business client's unit to identify and communicate how IT solutions can strategically assist and support.
  • Responds to questions and provides technical support to members of the business unit.
  • Serves as a liaison and knowledge source with stakeholders, Product Owners and team members.
  • Facilitate sessions to refine user story requirements, acceptance criteria and establish story points with team members.
  • Work with system of record BSAs and business stakeholders to facilitate and document any source to target data mappings required to provide developers with business rules for dynamic content.
  • Responsible for working with the cross-impacted team BSAs to identify and escalate impediments to completing requirement definition.
  • Work with team and business stakeholders to ensure there is a healthy volume of sprint ready user stories to drive backlog health and flexibility.
  • Participate in the identification, quantification and mitigation of risks and issues.
  • Review or create process and flow maps to understand how they impact requirements.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree or 4+ equivalent years of relevant experience
  • 4 to 8+ years of experience as a Business Systems Analyst

Preferred Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of Business Systems Analyst experience.
  • Experience in creating and advising on process flow diagrams, test plans, technical design documents, and business process documentation.
  • Demonstrated ability to organize and facilitate cross functional meetings.
  • Experience working with technical teams.
  • The ability to analyze and develop business and technical scenarios and use cases that result in comprehensive sprint ready business and technical system support user stories.
  • Experience in working in an iterative/agile environment.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Experience working with geographically dispersed teams.
  • Ability to work independently and effectively.
  • Ability to quickly learn new systems, concepts, processes and procedures.
  • Highly motivated with strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
