Merchandising Specialist - Full Time
Toft Dairy

Territory: Port Clinton, Fremont, Tiffin & Fostoria, OH
Schedule: Sunday-Tuesday, Thursday-Friday
Days Off: Wednesday & Saturday
Hours: Typically 7:00 AM to 4:00 PM (hours vary based on store needs and route requirements)

Position Summary

Toft Dairy is seeking a reliable and motivated Merchandising Specialist to service retail stores throughout the Port Clinton, Fremont, Tiffin, and Fostoria areas. This position is responsible for stocking, rotating, ordering, and merchandising Toft Dairy milk, ice cream, and other dairy products while building positive relationships with store personnel and ensuring our products are presented at their best.

Responsibilities

  • Stock milk, ice cream, and dairy products in assigned stores
  • Rotate products using FIFO (First In, First Out) practices
  • Maintain fully stocked, organized, and attractive dairy and freezer displays
  • Write up and call in orders for stores
  • Monitor product freshness and remove damaged or outdated items
  • Build and maintain promotional displays and seasonal features
  • Communicate inventory concerns and out-of-stock situations
  • Travel daily between assigned retail locations
  • Complete merchandising reports and route documentation
  • Maintain professional relationships with store management and staff
  • Follow all company food safety and workplace safety procedures

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Merchandising, retail, grocery, or dairy industry experience is preferred
  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
  • Ability to work independently and manage a daily route
  • Strong communication and customer service skills
  • Reliable attendance and strong work ethic

Physical Requirements

  • Lift up to 50 lbs. repeatedly throughout the day
  • Stand, walk, bend, kneel, and reach during shifts
  • Work in refrigerated and freezer environments
  • Travel between multiple retail locations daily
